Adobe Flash not working on my MacBook Pro? I installed the Flash Player and it said it was successful, but when i went to use it the page that says 'you need flash to view this content' came up. So, i uninstalled the program and reinstalled it, but the same thing happened. The window probably opened outside the boundaries of the screen. To the right of that 'Adobe Reader DC' in the menu bar that you are seeing at the top, there are some menu items. Click the one labelled 'Window'. It will provide a drop down. When a Flash Player version becomes outdated, Safari or Firefox will pop a small dialog to let you know. Since a well-known scam site does this too, you should not click the Safari dialog, but just go directly to the official Adobe Flash site. No browser, or System Preferences can be running during the Flash Player installation.

/Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
The UsersLibrary is hidden by default for macOS 10.7 and above. See Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later for instructions to access it.
Delete all the files within the OOBE folder, but do not delete the folder itself.

Note:
The app can take slightly longer than usual to load with this solution, as content in the OOBE folder is rebuilt while launching.
